**Description**
UWL is looking for a DOMESTIC TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST to join our team in Dallas, TX!
The Domestic Transportation Specialist's primary role is brokerage dispatch and daily maintenance/management of all transportation shipments (drayage, OTR & Intermodal).

**Major Tasks & Responsibilities include:**
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and internal teams
* Communicate proactively with customers, vendors and team members regarding shipment status, delays, etc.
* Discuss and upsell customers on additional services not currently being utilized
* Ensure all customer questions and concerns are handled timely and accurately
* Work with carriers and vendors to organize and coordinate transportation needs
* Coordinate delivery dates and times with receiver and shipper
* Input data into various tracking systems
* Accurately invoice all shipments once complete
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
* 3 to 5 years working in Domestic or International Transportation industry
* Prior dispatch or brokerage experience of Domestic Transportation
* Experience working with an LMS similar to Cargowise strongly preferred
* Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with Transportation Management Systems and/or Transportation Brokerage Systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Work well under pressure with constants and deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* Professional attitude & demeanor
* Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
