Job Description

An employer is looking for a TS/SCI Cyber Security Engineer to join a cyber team for a DOD program in El Segundo, CA (hybrid on-site). The Cyber Security Engineer will provide direct Assessment & Authorization support for all directorate Mission Information Systems and provide cybersecurity analysis/ engineering support for the secure operations of enterprise networks, systems and critical mission data. They will monitor and maintain the Vulnerability Management System, review security control implementation within the Test and Evaluation Management Plan, and conduct and document Security Test and Evaluation. The engineer will help to develop, update, accomplish eMASS and Xacta entries and updates, coordinate, and staff A&A packages in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Pay $72-77/hr

Required Skills & Experience
-Active TS or TS/SCI clearance
-STEM Bachelors Degree
-Sec+ or higher certification
-5+ years of cyber security experience on the C&A/A&A side
-Well versed in RMF/NIST
-Knowledge of EMASS or Xacta

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-CISSP or similar certification
